The buzz of productivity, the comfort of working out of office, and (most importantly) the caffeine. But working in these environments presents huge security concerns. The obvious ones come from the lack of control over the system and security standards employed by these establishments. You also have no control over the clientele. New hacking and ‘jacking’ technology allows would be criminals to steal information wirelessly simply by being within a certain distance, often only a few feet. There is always the potential to leave a thumb drive, external hard drive, or even your laptop behind, to be scooped up by the quickest set of hands.
