Armand K. Hunter, director PROTECTION & PREPAREDNEss
Armand is a 21 year Veteran of the United States Army, serving with the Massachusetts National Guard as an Artillery Officer. He has served in a number of leadership roles during this time where he has focused on his team’s development and has overseen numerous successes, including in theater’s abroad. His duties have included progressive roles which have overseen his own leadership development starting first as a cannon crewmember, and developing from there to ammunition team chief, forward observer, fire support Platoon Sergeant, Platoon Leader, Counterfire Officer, as well as Officer in Charge for the Massachusetts’ Military Funeral Honors Detail, and now in his most current assignment as a Targeting Officer. His service also includes two combat tours in Iraq (2004-2005 & 2006-2007), one combat tour in Afghanistan (2010), and most recently a deployment to the Horn of Africa in 2021. He is the recipient of a number of military awards and decorations, including the Meritorious Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, two Meritorious Unit Citations, the Combat Action Badge, and the Schützenschnur in Silber (a highly coveted foreign award for competence as a Soldier and Leader). Additionally, he was inducted into the US Field Artillery Association’s Honorable Order of Saint Barbara in 2016.
DAVID MCNEICE, SENIOR SECURITY ADVISOR
David is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, and also holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati. David has twenty-one years of Law Enforcement experience which included four with the State of Connecticut and seventeen in the Town of East Windsor. David’s experience includes being a Field Training Officer (Sergeant), Human Trafficking Task Force Officer (FBI and Homeland Security), POST Approved Instructor of Human Trafficking, Information Technology Administrator, Sex Offender Registry Liaison, Negotiator with the Capitol Region Emergency Services Team (Team Leader), Crisis Intervention Trained Officer, Hartford Auto Theft Task Force Officer, Metro Traffic Services Coordinator, EMS Coordinator, Peer Support Team Member, and K-9 Handler. David is responsible for helping Windwalker grow its Protection and Preparedness business as well as for providing his significant security expertise to our partners and clients.
